Job Description: Assistant Vice President (AVP) / Senior Assistant Vice President (SAVP) - Life & Annuities (L&A) – Insurance Analytics & SGU Vertical Location: Gurgaon, India -Hybrid Notice: 35-40 days’ notice max Reports To: Vice President, Insurance Analytics & SGU Vertical Experience: 12 + years of experience in a data analytics or insurance analytics role, with at least 5 years of leadership experience in Life & Annuities or related domains. Proven expertise in managing large teams and delivering high-quality analytics solutions to business clients. In-depth knowledge of data analytics methodologies, tools and technologies, including predictive modelling, statistical analysis and data visualization. Strong experience in client and stakeholder management, with an ability to influence and collaborate at senior levels. Knowledge of the Life & Annuities insurance domain, including product offerings, risk management, claims analysis and customer insights. Leadership and Team Management: Lead, mentor, and develop a team of 20-25 data analysts and data scientists focused on Life & Annuities (L&A) within the insurance sector. Client and Stakeholder Management- Act as the primary point of contact for internal stakeholders, senior leadership, and clients. Develop and maintain strong relationships with key business partners, clients, and external vendors. Strategic Analytics Leadership: Drive the data analytics strategy for the Life & Annuities sector, ensuring alignment with business goals. Provide thought leadership and in-depth knowledge of industry trends, data analytics tools, and methodologies relevant to Life & Annuities. Data Analytics Oversight: Utilize advanced data analytics techniques to drive actionable insights that influence business strategy and decision-making Education: Bachelor's or master’s degree in business, Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, Economics, or a related field.
