About the Role

We are looking for a dynamic and result-oriented Assistant Sales Manager to join our sales team. The role is ideal for someone with a strong background in the hotel or hospitality industry, excellent communication skills, and a proven record of driving revenue and building client relationships. The candidate will support the Sales Manager in executing sales strategies, maintaining corporate accounts, and achieving business growth targets.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the Sales Manager in developing and implementing sales and marketing strategies.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities in corporate, leisure, and MICE segments.
• Manage existing client relationships to ensure repeat and referral business.
• Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and performance analyses.
• Conduct sales calls, property visits, and participate in promotional events.
• Coordinate with operational teams to ensure seamless guest experiences.
• Train and guide junior sales executives when required.

Requirements

• Education: Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality, Business Administration, or equivalent.
• Experience: Minimum 3–5 years of experience in hotel sales or related hospitality sales roles.
• Background: Prior experience in the travel, tourism, or hospitality industry is mandatory.
• Skills: Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills; proficient in MS Office.
• Location: Candidates must reside in Kolkata and be available for in-person meetings and client visits.
