Assistant Retail Store Manager

Role Overview: As an Asst. Store & Design Manager at The White Teak Company, your role is crucial in creating a positive shopping experience for customers. Your primary responsibility includes welcoming customers, understanding and demonstrating product features, addressing customer complaints, maintaining knowledge of current sales promotions, achieving sales goals, and building relationships with customers. Key Responsibilities: - Welcome customers and create a positive shopping experience. - Read product manuals and attend training workshops to maintain an in-depth understanding of the offerings. - Demonstrate product features, benefits, and provide information on pricing, delivery options, and warranties. - Address customer complaints and resolve issues professionally. - Engage in follow-up conversations about products as needed. - Keep up-to-date with industry trends and new products. - Provide top-notch customer service consistently. - Achieve stipulated sales goals on time. - Build relationships with customers and maintain a customer database. - Maintain a clean and organized store appearance. Qualifications Required: - Minimum 5 years of prior experience in retail in-house sales. - Proficiency in using point-of-sale systems, inventory management systems, and other software programs. - Product and industry knowledge. - Ability to describe product features in simple or technical terms based on clients" existing knowledge. - Exceptional communication skills in English, both verbal and written. - Ability to listen to customers" needs and help them find the right decorative lights for their homes. - Confident, assertive, and honest approach to communication. - Outstanding improvisation, negotiation, and persuasion abilities. - Attuned to subtleties in human interactions.
