Assistant Regional Logistics Manager

Role & responsibilities Organizing and managing the warehouse operations for timely, safe and efficient receipt, storage and dispatch of material for a particular warehouse Warehouse / CFA management Managing/ Controlling Warehouse Operation wrt to SOP adherence. Ensure timely dispatch of Sales order from Warehouse /CFAs. Adherence to timely GRN within TAT, Sample check as per process Leads effective & efficient Storage Planning & Implementation focusing on the following Quality of material remains intact Ease of access Optimum response time in case of dispatch request FIFO compliance Regular depot co-ordination & ensure stock reconciliation, effective utilisation of Space & Inventory Planning. Conduct & Monitor periodic Cycle Count process / Physical Stock Takes and corrective actions on lapse process improvement and stock reconciliation. Tracking of Service Levels and Cost against CFA / Depot Budget . To handle unwanted, obsolete material and ensure timely disposal as per the process To coordinate with the Mother Warehouse and the sales team to ensure proper planning and timely dispatch (as per Turn Around Time) Maintaining requisite documentation To coordinate with the transport service providers to ensure no delays in any order processing Ensure timely response/ escalation to customer queries/ sales queries Highlighting ageing stock and initiating action if not already taken care of Overseeing the overall maintenance and hygiene of the warehouse Managing Returns Stock Verification & initiate timely action – as per the process. Regular reporting to Commercials Managing & Selling Scrap or obsolete Material – As per the process Training, Supervising, managing and appraising warehouse staff Ensuring all Statutory & Process compliances related to the warehouse Knowledge of WMS Cost Control Review / benchmark of the secondary freight, manpower , Warehouse Space wrt market/competition on quarterly basis. Managing & Selling Scrap or obsolete Material – As per the process Preferred candidate profile Graduate / MBA / CA 8-10 Yrs Experience in handling warehouse/ CFA operations Experience in handling transporters for local transfers Ability to use ERP-SAP/ Expert in MS Excel Fluency in local language is a must Preferred Industry – FMCG, E-commerce
