Role & responsibilities Primary responsibility is to drive sales and revenue within a specific geographic territory, often leading and managing a team of sales representatives . Focus on meeting sales targets, developing and implementing sales strategies, and fostering relationships with key customers and partners. This role involves both strategic planning and operational execution, ensuring a strong sales pipeline and efficient sales processes. Area Sales Managers are accountable for meeting or exceeding sales targets within their assigned territory. Develop and implement sales plans, including prospecting, targeting, and sales tactics, to maximize sales opportunities. Oversee the entire sales process, from initial contact with prospects to closing deals and Analyze sales data, forecast future sales, and develop sales plans to align with company goals. Provide leadership, guidance, and training to their sales teams, motivating them to achieve sales targets. Regularly review and evaluate the performance of their team members, providing feedback and coaching to improve sales skills and results. Develop and implement training programs to enhance sales skills and knowledge within the team. Maintain accurate sales records, prepare reports, and present sales performance data to management. Preferred candidate profile Graduate / MBA - Age 32-35 yrs Worked in FMCG Industry with 6-8 yrs of experience
