Assistant Property Manager

Role & responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage daily operations of plumbing systems, including water distribution, drainage, and sewage

management, ensuring uninterrupted service across the facility.

• Conduct regular inspections of plumbing infrastructure to identify potential issues and ensure all

systems comply with safety and health regulations.

• Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules for plumbing fixtures, pipes, and drainage

systems, minimizing downtime and preventing costly repairs.

• Oversee the installation, maintenance, and repair of plumbing systems, coordinating with contractors

and internal teams to meet project timelines and quality standards.

• Monitor and control water usage and quality, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and

minimizing waste.

• Manage inventory of plumbing supplies and replacement parts, placing orders as needed to maintain

optimal stock levels.

• Coordinate with vendors and service providers for specialized repairs or installations, negotiating

terms to ensure high-quality service within budget.

• Prepare and submit regular reports on plumbing system performance, highlighting issues, solutions,

and recommendations for improvements.

• Respond promptly to plumbing emergencies, working with maintenance teams to resolve issues and

restore service efficiently.

• Train and oversee junior technicians or staff members on safe handling and maintenance of

plumbing systems.

Requirements:

• Diploma or Bachelors degree in Plumbing, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.

• At least 5 years of experience in facility management or plumbing operations.

• In-depth knowledge of plumbing codes, water distribution, and drainage systems.

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage complex systems and

troubleshoot issues effectively.

• Excellent coordination and communication skills, capable of liaising with vendors, staff, and

regulatory agencies.
