As an Assistant Project Lead with Project and Development Services in Chennai/India, you will play a crucial role in contributing to project success. Working closely with the project manager or senior project manager, you will take charge of small projects and provide support for major ones. Your role will involve managing the organizational structure for each project, ensuring streamlined reporting, communication, and working procedures are in place, and establishing clear project objectives. Your attendance at project meetings is essential, and you will be responsible for creating project-related reports, analyses, and reviews. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are key, as you will be required to forecast project expenditure and effectively manage project budgets. Building and maintaining strong client relationships is a significant aspect of this role. You will need to identify client needs, requirements, and constraints while also considering JLL's business needs. Balancing the interests of both parties, you will strive to introduce potential prospects to other business lines at JLL and foster positive relationships with clients. In upholding excellence in project delivery, you will manage professional consultants for project design and documentation, oversee contract administration with vendors, identify project risks, and implement mitigation strategies. Emphasizing health, safety, and sustainability is essential, and you will be expected to prioritize these aspects throughout the project lifecycle. Your problem-solving skills, ability to navigate competing priorities, and sense of urgency will be crucial in achieving project success. The ideal candidate will engage confidently with stakeholders, exhibit a drive to succeed, bring a structured approach to tasks, communicate effectively, and thrive under pressure. To qualify for this role, you should have a degree in a property-related discipline and a minimum of three years of experience in design, construction, or project management.
