Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for an Assistant Professor at Rayat Bahra University, located in Mohali, Punjab. The Assistant Professor will engage in designing course materials, delivering lectures, mentoring students, conducting and publishing research, as well as participating in departmental and university events. Additional responsibilities include curriculum development, supervision of student projects and internships, and contributing to the academic and research development of the department. Active collaboration with colleagues and participation in administrative responsibilities will also be required.

Qualifications

  • Strong academic background and subject expertise in relevant fields of teaching and research.
  • Effective communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills to deliver engaging lectures and guide students.
  • Experience in developing curricula, writing research papers, and conducting academic research.
  • Proficiency with modern educational tools and technology, including online teaching platforms.
  • Ph.D. or equivalent in a relevant discipline (preferred), with significant academic and professional achievements.
  • Commitment to fostering a collaborative and inclusive learning environment.
  • Experience with project supervision and guiding students in projects or dissertations is an advantage.
