Role Description

We are seeking a full-time Assistant Professor of Fashion Designing for our Jalandhar campus. The responsibilities include delivering lectures, developing curriculum, guiding students in practical and theoretical aspects of fashion designing, and conducting research to contribute to academic excellence. The candidate will mentor students on projects, assist in organizing events, and participate in departmental activities to enhance the overall learning environment. This is an on-site role that demands collaboration and engagement with students and faculty members.

Qualifications

Expertise in Fashion Design principles, garment construction, and textile knowledge
Teaching and curriculum development skills in the field of Fashion Designing
Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, or CorelDRAW
Creative thinking, problem-solving, and critical analysis abilities
Strong communication, leadership, and mentoring skills
Master’s degree or higher in Fashion Design or a related field
Experience in academic research and publishing is preferred
Previous teaching experience in Fashion Design will be considered an advantage
