Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for an Assistant Professor of Fashion Designing located in Jalandhar. The role involves teaching undergraduate and postgraduate courses in fashion designing, guiding students in practical and theoretical aspects of the discipline, and mentoring them on design projects. The Assistant Professor will also contribute to curriculum development, participate in research and publication activities, and engage in department and institution-level academic initiatives to foster a vibrant learning environment.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Fashion Designing, textile design, and garment construction
• Strong knowledge in design principles, trends, and fabric analysis
• Experience in conducting research and contributing to academic publications
• Excellent teaching, curriculum development, and mentorship skills
• Master’s degree in Fashion Designing or related field (Ph.D. preferred)
• Effective communication skills and the ability to inspire and engage students
• Proven expertise in fashion software tools and technologies is an added advantage
