Assistant Professor- Journalism

As a Journalism Instructor at our institution, your role involves preparing and delivering courses in the field of Journalism to a diverse student population. Your responsibilities will include: - Teaching courses based on approved learning outcomes and utilizing appropriate instructional strategies. - Evaluating student progress and providing timely feedback. - Mentoring students in the Journalism program. - Remaining updated in the field through professional development activities. - Engaging in decision-making processes and supporting department goals. - Serving on committees and task forces as required. - Demonstrating proficiency in using technology for classroom purposes. - Adhering to professional standards and meeting deadlines. - Maintaining regular office hours for student support and success. - Participating in college-wide activities and meetings. The qualifications required for this position include a Master's degree in Journalism or Mass Communication from a recognized University, along with industry experience.
