Assistant Professor / Associate Professor / Professor - School of Computer Science - JD Deliver high-quality teaching at undergraduate and postgraduate levels in core areas of Computer Science and in one or more of the following domains: Cloud Computing, Cyber Security, Network Security, DevOps, Big Data Technologies, Core Computer Science Engineering, Object-Oriented Programming (OOPs), Database Management Systems (DBMS), Data Structures and AlgorithmsGuide students in academic projects, internships, and research activities.Design and develop curriculum, learning materials, and assessments to align with industry trends and academic standards.Conduct independent and collaborative research, publish in reputed journals and conferences.Apply for and manage research grants and funded projects.Mentor and advise students for academic and career progression.Participate in departmental and institutional development activities, committees, and community outreach.Collaborate with industry and academic partners for joint programs, research, and knowledge exchange. Preferred Expertise (Any combination):Cloud Infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP)Cyber & Network Security protocols and practicesDevOps tools (Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, etc.)Big Data frameworks (Hadoop, Spark)Software Engineering & OOPsDBMS (MySQL, PostgreSQL, NoSQL)Data Structures & Algorithms Professor of Practice : JD Teach undergraduate and/or postgraduate courses with a focus on practical and applied learningDesign and deliver experiential learning modules, workshops, and case-based teachingMentor students on industry projects, internships, and career pathwaysCollaborate with faculty to align curriculum with current industry practicesInitiate or support applied research, consulting, or innovation projectsServe as a liaison between the university and industry for partnerships, internships, and guest lecturesParticipate in departmental meetings and contribute to academic development10+ years of experience in tech companies, startups, or R&DProven contributions such as product development, patents, tech leadership, or published workExposure to mentoring, technical training, or corporate academic engagement is desirable Please reach out on aditya.singh@upes.ac.in Show more Show less
