About Akanksha:

Position Summary:

You will be reporting to Senior Manager- Human Resources.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Talent Acquisition

  • Partner with Schools to define staffing requirements.
  • Supporting the Director of schools and Senior Manager Human Resource to identify key/high risk roles and creating a recruitment plan for the year looking at both internal  and external talent.                                                   
  • Manage the talent acquisition process, which includes recruitment, interviewing, and hiring of qualified job applicants.

HR Operations, Data & Compliance

  • HR operations for Nagpur schools ( Recruitment operations, Onboarding & Induction, Exit formalities, payroll etc).
  • Ensuring HR compliances under statutory laws as applicable to charitable organizations like ESCI, PF, POSH, Shops & Establishments. Support HR audit requirements, as needed.
  • Review & maintain HR Data and MIS.

Policies, Processes and Systems

  • To execute all HR policies and processes and ensure quality and timely implementation.
  • Effective communication of employee policies and processes.

Team Management

  • Contribute to the HR team goals and priorities beyond individual goals and priorities and actively partner on key initiatives taken up at the organization level, beyond city level  responsibilities. 
  • Will oversee a team of 1-2 members and be accountable for guiding their development and ensuring performance outcomes.

What you need for this Position:

Experience

  • Minimum 5 years experience in relevant work experience in HR roles.
  • Proven experience in hiring and HR data management.
  • Experience of working in development and non- profit sectors preferred.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

  • Excellent English verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong Excel, Word, and PowerPoint skills
  • Attention to detail 
  • Self-motivated and can own a piece of work from start to finish.
  • Ability to coordinate with diverse stakeholders

Education:

  • Bachelors/Masters degree (Preferably in Human Resources/Industrial Psychology)
