Assistant Manager - Warehouse Operations

As a Warehouse Operations Manager, your role involves leading the team towards operational excellence in executing client contracts and implementing continual process improvements to ensure customer retention. You will be responsible for ensuring the required number of headcounts for daily operations and providing timely MIS & KPI reports to the Customer / HO in predetermined formats. Key Responsibilities: - Execute assigned client contracts and oversee the maintenance of all transaction records in the Warehouse. - Maintain Inventory Accuracy and Location Accuracy at 100% on a daily basis. - Conduct daily cycle count, stock count, and reconciliation. - Ensure proper accountability on WMS for day-to-day operations. - Supervise staff to ensure they wear PPE and maintain 5s in floor operations. - Lead the team in improving safety, quality, and housekeeping standards, company and client SOPs, and audit requirements by coordinating with safety and audit teams. Qualifications Required: - Minimum of 5-8 years of experience in a warehousing and distribution environment. - Degree or equivalent professional qualification in Logistics or Supply Chain Management. - Concept knowledge in ERP or Inventory Management Systems. - Effective communication and excellent interpersonal skills. - Strong analytical skills with sound computer literacy. In addition to the above responsibilities and qualifications, the preferred candidate profile should have a background in warehouse operations, possess strong analytical skills, and have experience with ERP or Inventory Management Systems. This is a full-time position with the benefit of Provident Fund. The work location is in person.
