Asst Manager NPD Role Name To develop new product in line with the requirement of business as per Product design brief. Role Description Provide support to Production, Vendor Development and Product Management for execution of new products. To drive product development of new products and improvement of existing product. Ensure documentation related to product design and catalogue preparation for fabrication unit. 10. Help Product manager and marketing manager with inputs on develping marketing collateral. 1. Monitor the performance of existing products w.r.t benchmarks from time to time by testing and interpreting the performance parameters 1. Product evaluation sheet 2. Rejection analysis 2. Analyse quality claim received from customer, take corrective action in existing products and new products being developed. Product Performance monitoring 3. Identify the existing products that require up gradation. 1. Support production team to improve efficiency 1. Process time improvement as per plan. 2. Target a lower rejection in PPM along with Production dept as per plan. 3. Ensuring BOM validation of existing & new products 4. Ensuring system integration for new products. 2. Reduction of in-process rejection as per plan 3. FG rejections (related to product). 4. TAT for product launch including testing as per plan. Additional Responsibilities REQUIREMENTS Knowledge Experience: Fenestration industry, Product Development, Benchmarking, Product Proposal, Performance criterias for doors and windows, Hardware integration, Prototyping Total Experience: a. 6 to 8 years b. Independently handled product development - conceptulisation to introduction. Skills Qualification: Team management, Communication & Presentation skill, Analytical & Planning skill, Cross function team working, 2D CAD drawings , Solidworks, 3D rendering, design builder Mechanical Engineering graduate.
