Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant Manager – Tool Room to lead the optimization and operational efficiency of our tool room.

Location: Andheri, Mumbai

Education:

Diploma/Degree in Tool & Die Making or a relevant specialization from CIPET, NTTF, GTTC, CITD.

Experience:

• Minimum 10 years of experience in a commercial tool room environment, with a strong focus on injection mould making for high-precision components.
• Hands-on experience in: CNC Milling Machines /Wire Cut/ EDM , Conventional Tool Room Machines, Vision Measuring Machine (VMM) & Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM).

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and manage daily operations of the tool room, ensuring timely and quality completion of mould manufacturing tasks.
• Oversee the making, modification, and maintenance of injection moulds, ensuring precision and adherence to design specifications.
• Operate and guide team on advanced CNC Milling, Wire Cut, EDM, and conventional machining tools.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for tooling and mould issues.
• Collaborate with the design and production teams to ensure seamless workflow from design to production.
• Train and mentor junior tool room technicians for skill development and performance improvement.
• Implement safety standards and ensure a clean, organized, and efficient work environment.
• Working Knowledge of work holding device for automation of machining process, such as Erowa system /3R system.
• Design review with design team of mould design before manufacturing

Skills Required:

• Expertise in injection mould making, precision tooling, jigs and fixtures.
• Strong communication, team management, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects.
