Assistant Manager, Technical Sales

You will be responsible for the technical sales and commercialization of current and new food ingredients in the assigned region of Hyderabad, Karnataka, Tamilnadu, Andhrapradesh & Kerala. Your main duties will include analyzing the sales potential for the specified region, identifying new potential customers, and introducing products to customers in the assigned territories. It will be your responsibility to implement marketing and sales strategies defined by the Business Line Manager (BLM) and ensure that sales targets are achieved. Developing good relationships with industry experts and department heads at customer locations is essential to ensure the smooth functioning of business with customers in the specified region. You will also be required to send monthly and specified reports of sales and business development to the BLM and principals/suppliers. Coordinating supplier visits, conducting trials, and developing new projects for products in coordination with BLM and Business Development Manager are also part of the job responsibilities. Additionally, you will need to undergo technical training both in India and overseas to support customers with technical knowledge and product application. New responsibilities may be assigned from time to time by the Local Business Line Manager based on industry clusters or product groups and development of other regions. Your role will require a technical understanding of products and the ability to explain them to customers. The ideal candidate should have a B.Tech/M.Tech degree in Food Technology.,
