Assistant Manager Technical Procurement

Job Description for Purchase Executive :

• Managing Purchase Requests & purchase orders and overseeing delivery dates.
• Overseeing domestic and international shipping schedules.
• Work with operations and warehouse teams to fix discrepancies on Purchase Orders & pass on to purchasing managers.
• Work with the documentation team to ensure documentation in a timely manner.
• Keep all purchase records up to date.
• Help determine vendors that supply with low margin to maximize savings , develop vendors closer to destination.
• Deal with Customer service questions from Vendors
• Some knowledge of the transportation industry, and able to be an internal liaison with transportation department.
• Ability to work quickly and in a potentially high-stress environment
• Strong communication skills and extremely self-motivated.
• Highly organized and capable of creating organizational systems
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
• Knowledge of PCs and related software, ERP Systems, and maintenance and retrieval of documents through our online system.

Requirements:

• Familiar with ERP systems and practices, as well as software and automation.
• At least 5-8 years of experience
• Vendor relationship management and ability to adapt/respond to different types of characters
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage time effectively
• High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred
