Assistant Manager - Strategy & Growth (on contract)

GIFTCL invites application for the position of Assistant Manager - Strategy & Growth (on contract). This is a contractual position for a period of 5 years. The remuneration will be commensurate with qualification and experience.

The candidate should have done Masters degree (completed or awaiting results) in Public Policy, Economics, Development Studies, Business Administration, Finance, or a related discipline. Freshers are welcome to apply; relevant experience through internships, live projects, or academic research in policy, strategy, or analytics (preferred but not mandatory). Detailed job description is as under,

• Conduct structured research and data gathering on:
• Global financial centres (e.g., DIFC, ADGM, Singapore, Luxembourg)
• Emerging trends in fintech, capital markets, and regulatory innovation
• ESG, digital finance, and international trade developments
• Track key policy, regulatory, and economic developments (both domestic and international) and summarize relevant updates for internal stakeholders.
• Benchmark GIFTCLs offerings, infrastructure, and ecosystem against global best practices.
• Assist in preparing policy briefs, concept notes, analytical reports, and internal memos for the MD and Group CEO’s office.
• Develop presentation decks, charts, and visualizations using data from primary and secondary sources.
• Maintain an internal repository of strategic research, knowledge assets, and global reference materials.
• Support the monitoring and reporting of key strategic initiatives and cross-functional projects.

Competencies Required:

• Strong research, writing, and analytical skills; ability to synthesize large datasets and policy documents.
• Proficiency in MS PowerPoint and Excel; familiarity with visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) is a plus.
• Interest in financial sector developments, fintech ecosystems, policy design, or economic development.
