Job Description

The Sales Manager GCC Market will be responsible for identifying, engaging, and driving business growth within Global Capability Centers (GCCs) in India. The role demands a consultative approach, deep understanding of GCC operating models, and the ability to position analytics, digital transformation, and AI-led offerings to senior stakeholders.

Role & responsibilities

Responsibilities:

1. Market Development & Prospecting

  • Identify and build a qualified pipeline of GCC clients across sectors (BFSI, CPG, Retail, Manufacturing, Tech, etc.).
  • Map decision-makers and influencers within GCCs (India leaders, global stakeholders, and sourcing teams).
  • Conduct market research to identify emerging GCCs, expansion announcements, and new setup opportunities.

2. Sales & Account Growth

  • Drive end-to-end sales cycle from lead generation to closure.
  • Position data analytics, AI, and digital transformation solutions in alignment with GCC priorities.
  • Work closely with delivery and solutions teams to shape tailored proposals and proof of concepts (POCs).
  • Achieve quarterly revenue targets and ensure consistent pipeline health.

3. Relationship Management

  • Build trusted relationships with GCC Heads, Capability Leaders, and Procurement partners.
  • Partner with industry bodies (e.g., NASSCOM, Zinnov, AIM) to enhance brand visibility in the GCC ecosystem.
  • Organize client roundtables, networking sessions, and thought leadership events to deepen engagement.

4. Strategic Collaboration

  • Collaborate with internal presales, marketing, and practice teams to drive go-to-market campaigns.
  • Contribute to account planning and client strategy discussions.
  • Track industry trends, competitor movements, and client news to proactively identify opportunities.

Key Metrics

  • New logos acquired from GCCs
  • Revenue growth from existing GCC clients
  • Pipeline value and win ratio
  • Client satisfaction and retention scores
  • Brand visibility and event participation metrics

Preferred candidate profile

  • Prior experience selling to GCCs across verticals like BFSI, CPG, Retail, or Technology.
  • Existing network within the GCC leadership community.
  • Exposure to global delivery models and solution-based sales.
