Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Manager who has a stronghold in Risk Management in the Financial industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining compliance with regulatory and internal risk guidelines, ensuring risk controls, verifying client trade behavior, and managing trade surveillance processes.

Key Responsibilities:-

The individual will be performing procedures as laid down in the Financial industry risk management along with attaining hands-on experience in research/analysis and making updates to databases, thereby helping client serving.

• The individual will be required to communicate with senior team members to resolve queries and gather information, thus would be expected to become a subject matter expert.
• Follow up with internal teams and escalate issues where necessary to ensure timely resolution.
• Implement surveillance systems, risk assessments, and control measures and analyze compliance gaps and develop mitigation strategies.
• Ensure operational compliance with internal policies and industry standards, and execute activities as per client instructions.
• Conduct data checks and audits for branches; ensure timely collection and verification of required documents.

Key Skills:-

Sound understanding of the Financial industry, compliance & regulatory framework.

• Strong data verification, reporting, and escalation management skills.
• Detail-oriented with strong record-keeping and documentation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders across departments and branches.

Qualification

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance / Commerce / Economics (MBA preferred).
• Certifications in capital markets/compliance / risk (if any) are a plus.
