Job Description

Support
budget preparation, forecasting and cost control
activities for plant overheads in coordination with plant & other concerned teams.
Analyze plant overhead expenses
(both fixed and variable costs) such as power & fuel, repair & maintenance, manpower, consumables and administrative overheads.
Perform
monthly variance analysis
by comparing actual expenses at plant level against budget & previous periods and share reasoning for deviations.
Identify cost drivers, inefficiencies, abnormal variances and provide actionable insights and partner with plant teams to actively
drive cost efficiency initiatives
.
Track and monitor cost reduction initiatives and ensure proper validation and realization of savings.
Track & monitor
plant inventory levels
, inventory days, slow/non-moving inventory & inventory position against the targets.
Support in monthly MIS reports including detailed supporting/working files, dashboards and presentations for management review.
Drive automation and standardization of plant cost, variance and inventory reporting using SAP, Excel and dashboards to improve efficiency and data accuracy.
Handle
various ad-hoc reports
as required by the management and seniors.
