Description
As an Assistant Manager - Quality at Sterlite Power Transmission Limited, your role involves overseeing and ensuring product quality at all manufacturing stages. You will be responsible for implementing quality systems, driving continuous improvement initiatives, managing audits, and compliance. Your key responsibilities include: - Deploying control plans for each process - Implementing PFMEA and working on high RPN reduction - Conducting periodic process audits for complete manufacturing and testing processes - Deploying Poka-yoke in the manufacturing process - Ensuring control on preventive maintenance of test equipment & apparatus - Conducting cross checks, quality control checks, repeatability tests, and initiating corrective actions - Leading continual improvement projects to eliminate rejections and improve processes - Identifying CTQs/CTPs for the manufacturing process and driving SPC statistical process controls - Adhering to process parameters, relevant SOP/WI - Implementing Gauge R&R and ensuring accuracy in measurements - Ensuring adequate training of the personnel under your control You may be required to travel as and when necessary.
