Position: Assistant Manager – Quality

Job Summary:

The Assistant Manager – Quality is responsible for implementing, monitoring, and improving quality control systems across all interior design and fit-out projects. The role ensures that all materials, finishes, and site execution meet design intent, company standards, and client expectations through effective inspections, documentation, and coordination with internal teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in developing and enforcing quality control procedures for interior projects (site & factory).
  • Conduct regular inspections of joinery, furniture, and site installation works to ensure compliance with drawings and quality standards.
  • Support the Quality Manager in creating and maintaining Quality Assurance (QA) documentation such as ITPs, checklists, and NCRs.
  • Coordinate with design, production, procurement, and project teams to resolve quality issues.
  • Ensure that all incoming materials and finishes meet approved specifications and standards.
  • Oversee vendor and subcontractor quality compliance, including audits and evaluations.
  • Review shop drawings, mock-ups, and prototypes for quality validation.
  • Maintain records of inspections, corrective actions, and preventive measures.
  • Support the training of site supervisors and engineers on quality standards and workmanship.
  • Ensure handover quality documentation is complete for client submissions.
  • Participate in root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Skills & Competencies:

  • In-depth knowledge of interior materials, finishes, furniture manufacturing, and site execution standards.
  • Strong understanding of AutoCAD drawings, QA/QC processes, and ISO procedures.
  • Good analytical, problem-solving, and team management skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office, Excel-based reports, and quality documentation.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to excellence.

Qualification & Experience:

  • Degree / Diploma in Civil, Interior, or Architectural Engineering.
  • Minimum 5–7 years of experience in quality control within interior design, furniture manufacturing, or fit-out projects.
  • Experience with retail, commercial, or corporate interiors preferred.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

  • Reduction in quality non-conformances and rework.
  • Timely inspection reports and closure of NCRs.
  • Compliance with project quality timelines.
  • Improved client satisfaction scores related to quality.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
