Job Description

Job Responsibilities


 Monitor the media, including newspapers, magazines, journals, broadcasts, newswires,

social media sites and blogs, for opportunities for clients

 Collate, analyze and evaluate media coverage

 Research, write, proof read and distribute press releases/client communication to targeted

media

 Regular follow up with media

 Building strong relationship and networks with colleagues, client and media

 Planning/Managing on ground events/press conference

 Creating PR communication strategies for clients

 Proactive thinking and monthly planning

 Developing a PR communications plan including strategy, goals, budget and tactics

 Ability to lead, manage, mentor & motivate his/her internal team

 Liaise on a daily basis with clients and the media, often via telephone and email

 Manage media inquiries and interview requests

 Creative ideation

 Seek/look out for relevant media/opportunities for clients

 Planning/Co-ordination with media houses and third party agencies

 Pitch stories and co-ordinate client interviews with media

 Prepare regular client reports and attend client meetings

 Crisis communication management


Requirements

 Bachelor’s Degree in PR, Communications or Post Graduate in PR

 Min 4-5 years of relevant work experience in PR ( Lifestyle & Entertainment )

 Excellent Communication written and oral, interpersonal skills

 Strong Networking with Media

 Excellent Communication written and oral, interpersonal skills, good presentation skills

 Strong Networking with Media, B2B

 Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to multi-task

 Flexibility, determination, enthusiasm and the ability to cope well under pressure

 Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to work on more than one project at a time

 Creativity and imagination

 Initiative

 Team player with a positive and proactive attitude

 Proficiency in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel)
