Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Expedite with internal stakeholders & partners for the timely delivery of products of required quality at required site location.
  • Contact suppliers to obtain timely submission of engineering data and to follow-up on material acquisition, production progress and shipment.
  • Evaluate manufacturing schedules and progress reports from suppliers to determine if it is in line with the agreed schedule submitted by them at the time of order award.
  • Compiles data needed to prepare the critical items reports or other supplementary reports as required. Coordinates the accumulation of data from project team and issues reports to the stakeholders.
  • Expedites with engineering department for the timely review, approval and return of engineering data submitted by suppliers
  • Maintains a working file of expediting related documents and memoranda of conversations to record expediting activities.
  • Updates Supplier Performance Database (SPD) in a timely manner.
  • Obtains copies of supplier orders for material, performs sub-supplier expediting, where necessary.
  • Participates in pre and post-award meetings to review and discuss schedules and potential problem areas that may impact required shipment dates.
  • Coordinates shipping arrangements or tracking requests with the project representative.
  • Reviews material receiving reports against shipping documents to verify that material has been received at job site. Assists in tracing missing material.
  • Coordinates with accounts to reconcile and close the partner due account
  • Provide the payment priority to finance based on holistic view of all project requirements
  • Recommend the application or waiver of LD to the Vendor
  • Coordinate with all stake holders for timely closure of contracts.

Qualifications

  • B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical, Electrical, or Energy Engineering.
  • MBA or PGDM in Contract Management or Renewable Energy (preferred).
  • Minimum 4 years of experience of relevant experience in Contract Administration function
