Key Responsibilities

1.

  • Strategic Alignment:

    Assist in the conceptualization and design of project life-cycles ensuring they align with the organizations vision, mission, and core thrust areas.
  • Operational Planning:

    Develop comprehensive village-level project plans, including detailed stakeholder mapping and monthly activity calendars to ensure timely execution.
  • Needs Assessment:

    Lead ground-level research and surveys in target communities to identify beneficiary needs, service gaps, and opportunities for new interventions.
  • Proposal Evaluation:

    Assist in evaluating project proposals from NGOs/partners by conducting field due diligence and assessing alignment with corporate CSR guidelines.

2.

  • End-to-End Execution:

    Oversee the complete lifecycle of CSR projects, ensuring on-ground activities are executed in line with approved timelines and objectives.
  • Stakeholder Liaison:

    Act as the primary interface with Government departments, NGOs, and community leaders (Sarpanchs/Panchayat) to facilitate scheme convergence and smooth implementation.
  • Partner Coordination:

    Coordinate with implementation partners and NGOs to ensure deliverables are met, carrying out periodic reviews to assess operational effectiveness.
  • Volunteer Engagement:

    Collaborate with HR to drive internal engagement, aligning employee volunteers with CSR programs and managing structured volunteering events.
  • Event Management:

    Lead the organization of community events, awareness campaigns, and distribution drives, ensuring effective branding and community mobilization.

  • Field Monitoring:

    Conduct regular field visits to systematically track the progress of ongoing activities, verify physical assets, and ensuring quality standards are met.
  • Data Systems Management:

    Structure and maintain robust data collection tools (e.g., surveys, pre-post analysis) to ensure accurate capture of beneficiary data and project outcomes.
  • Impact Assessment:

    Analyze field data to measure project impact against defined KPIs and identify areas for course correction.
  • Master Data Maintenance:

    Maintain and update central databases for project activities, beneficiary records, and asset trackers to ensure data integrity.

4.

  • Budgeting:

    Assist in the preparation and presentation of annual and project-specific activity budgets.
  • Funds Utilization:

    specific Monitor monthly cash flows and expense tracking to ensure funds are utilized effectively and in line with the planned objectives.
  • Procurement Support:

    oversee the procurement process for project materials, including bid analysis and purchase order tracking.
  • Compliance:

    Ensure all projects meet legal and CSR Act requirements, assisting in the report preparation and collection of necessary documents for financial audits and utilization certificates.

5. Reporting, Documentation & Communication

  • Periodic Reporting:

    Prepare consolidated monthly, quarterly, and annual reports on CSR activities for senior management review.
  • Knowledge Management:

    Document best practices, success stories, and case studies from the field for internal and external communication (newsletters, press notes).
  • Fundraising Support:

    Assist in researching potential collaboration opportunities, writing funding proposals, developing project proposals, and preparing materials for fundraising events.
  • Meeting Management:

    Track and minute team meetings, field staff reviews, and partner interactions to ensure follow-ups on action items.

6. Capacity Building & Team Development

  • Staff Training:

    Facilitate capacity-building sessions for field staff and community workers to enhance their performance and project delivery skills.
  • Resource Mobilization:

    Support the development of strategies to encourage community contribution and sustainability of the projects.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • Percentage of project activities completed against the annual plan.
  • Accuracy of budget forecasting vs. actual utilization.
  • Quality and timeliness of impact data and MIS reports.
  • Effective convergence with Government schemes and stakeholder satisfaction.
  • Successful execution of employee engagement and community events.

Desired Qualifications & Skills

Skills & Competencies

1.

  • Project Management:

    Strong ability to plan, execute, and monitor multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Data Proficiency:

    Advanced command over Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, formulas), experience with data collection tools (e.g., Google Forms, ODK, Kobo Toolbox), and documentation tools like word, ppt, google docs and Office 365.
  • Financial Management:

    Experience with handling budgets, cash flows, and expense tracking with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Documentation & Reporting:

    Superior writing skills for drafting high-quality impact reports, case studies, and funding proposals.
  • Tech Savviness:

    Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Word) and collaboration tools (Zoom, Teams, Google Workspace).

  • Stakeholder Management:

    Ability to navigate complex relationships with government officials, corporate leadership, NGO partners, and rural communities.
  • Problem Solving:

    Proactive approach to identifying field-level challenges and devising practical solutions.
  • Adaptability:

    Ability to work in dynamic environments and handle last-minute changes in project schedules.
  • Empathy & Cultural Sensitivity:

    Deep understanding of rural dynamics and the ability to interact respectfully with beneficiaries from diverse backgrounds.

3.

  • AI Proficiency:

    Familiarity with using Artificial Intelligence tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Gemini, Copilot) for productivity enhancement, such as drafting communications, summarizing reports, analyzing data trends, or brainstorming creative campaign ideas.
