Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the financial operations of the Foundation, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of reports and practices.
• Maintain complete books of accounts including cash management, payroll, disbursements, receipts, and vouchers.
• Enter and maintain financial information and records for all projects undertaken by SNWF.
• Manage financial controls; prepare and analyse budgets, revenues, commissions, and expenses; ensure periodic monitoring of spend vs. budget (monthly/quarterly).
• Obtain approvals from Trustees on relevant financial activities in line with policies and procedures.
• Prepare and manage statutory compliance documentation for the Charity Commissioner, Income Tax, and Audit requirements.
• Prepare and file returns for Income Tax, Professional Tax, and TDS along with corporate reporting requirements.
• Coordinate financial and statutory audits, including preparation of financial statements, MIS reports, and provision of required documentation.
• Monitor internal controls, maintain petty cash, and ensure proper documentation.
• Provide inputs on TDS applicability and prepare relevant documentation.
• Ensure program/project expenditures are utilized appropriately and within budgetary allocations.
• Maintain donor database and oversee timely issuance of receipts to donors.
• Prepare and present project proposals, budgets, and action plans as required.
• Generate and present MIS reports related to financials for management decision-making.
