Assistant Manager - PQA

Role Focus Ensure high quality of tractors through Product & Process Audits in Tractor Assembly, Paint, and PTCED shops. Support Customer Quality Assurance (CQA) to improve field quality and manage warranty projects. Key Responsibilities New Product Handling Resolve concerns in new products (Seeding Batch, Pilot Batch) using O-R-C (Observation, Root cause, Correction) mechanism. Smooth launch of new models and variants. Knowledge of new product & process handling is essential. Technical Knowledge Strong understanding of sheet metal & plastic components. Functional knowledge of engine & transmission aggregate assembly. Experience in assembly line operations and handling supplier parts. Quality Assurance & Improvement Analyze customer complaints, assembly line rejections, and supplier part issues; implement corrective actions. Standardize quality procedures across processes. Drive continuous process improvements (Kaizens). Implement POKA-YOKES to eliminate human error. Monitor adherence to processes through SOP/SOS audits, SPC (Statistical Process Control), and MSA (Measurement System Analysis) studies. Change & Process Management Responsible for Engineering Change Management. Conduct product & process audits to ensure compliance. Support quality improvements in field and assembly.
