Assistant Manager - Planning

Position:

Role Overview:

The Assistant Manager - Planning will be responsible for supporting project planning, scheduling, and monitoring activities for wind power EPC projects across India. The role involves preparation of detailed project schedules, monitoring progress, and assisting in coordination with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and cost-effective project execution.

Key Responsibilities:

• 
  

  Prepare detailed project schedules and baselines for wind power projects.



• 
  

  Monitor project progress, highlight delays/risks, and assist in implementing corrective measures.



• 
  

  Support preparation of weekly/monthly project status reports and dashboards.



• 
  

  Coordinate with procurement, engineering, and execution teams for resource planning.



• 
  

  Assist in budget tracking, cash flow monitoring, and cost control activities.



• 
  

  Maintain planning data, MIS, and ensure accuracy in reports for management review.



• 
  

  Visit sites to track execution progress and validate reporting.

Desired Skills & Competencies:

• 
  

  Knowledge of project planning and scheduling techniques.



• 
  

  Proficiency in Primavera P6 / MS Project and MS Excel.



• 
  

  Strong coordination and communication skills.



• 
  

  Analytical mindset with attention to detail.



• 
  

  Basic understanding of wind power EPC processes preferred.

Qualifications & Experience:

• 
  

  Bachelor s degree in Engineering (Mechanical / Electrical / Civil preferred).



• 
  

  4-8 years of experience in project planning, preferably in wind/renewable energy projects.



• 
  

  Exposure to site-based execution planning is an added advantage.
