Job Description

About the Team:

The horizontal retail team driving synergies between CDO (Categories) and Ekart (Logistics and Supply-chain) primarily & multiple other peripheral teams. The team is responsible for effectively running and controlling material flow (or multiple flows) for Flipkart Inventory led business & create efficiencies by improving current processes and implementing new. Thus, enabling faster turn arounds in business flows & the value (working capital/cash flow) associated with the same.

Role & responsibilities

Vendor/Seller Relationship Management:

Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential sellers.

Act as the main point of contact for sellers, addressing inquiries, concerns, and providing necessary support.
Regularly communicate with sellers to understand their needs, challenges, and opportunities for collaboration
Plan and coordinate activities that affect operational decisions and business requirements.
Works across several dashboards while also developing some himself/herself to ensure data availability to operational decision making.

Cross-functional Coordination:

Liaise between internal teams and sellers to ensure effective communication and coordination of activities.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address any operational, logistical, or technical issues related to seller collaboration.
Provide feedback and insights to internal teams to support continuous improvement and innovation.

Preferred candidate profile

Strong Operations Management background
Experience working with big brands, preferably in the FMCG sector
Experience working in process imrpovements, collaborating in product developments for process improvements
B. Tech/ equivalent, MBA preferred
