Job Description

1. To supervise and review the Physicochemical, Critical System and Chromatography lab analysis of in-process, intermediate and formulated bulk samples.

2. To supervise and review the Molecular Biology lab analysis of in-process, intermediate and formulated bulk samples

3. To plan the daily activities of the laboratories as per the production plan co-ordination with CFT for alignment.

4. To review the logs and records in Physicochemical, Critical system, Molecular biology, Electrophoresis and chromatography Lab.

5. Review and approve protocols and reports such as method validation, method transfer, process validation.

6. To review the calibration and revalidation of all the equipments of Physiochemical, Critical system, Electrophoresis and chromatography, Molecular Biology and Cell Culture as per the approved schedule plan.

7. To review the preventive maintenance, calibration plan and ensure execution within timeline.

8. To review and approve the prepared cell lines of HEK293, A549 and vero cells and review the stock maintenance. 9. To review the Audit Trial Data of equipments of Physiochemical, Electrophoresis and chromatography, Molecular Biology and Cell Culture lab.

10. To review the results of testing for in process control samples and ARM samples.

11. To maintain and update necessary documents as per the cGMP and quality management system.

12. To ensure the compliance of laboratory as per GLP/cGMP and handling of QMS elements.

13. To review product specifications and standard test procedures.

14. To review procedural/operational/product specific standard operation procedures.

15. To report deviation/incident /OOS/OOL for any excursion occurred in the Physicochemical, Critical system, Molecular Biology, Electrophoresis and chromatography Lab in a timely manner and ensure the timely closure of elements.

16. To ensure that prescribed safety precautions are being taken by the subordinates while performing analysis.

17. To qualify the analyst for the various testing done in the Physicochemical, Critical system, Electrophoresis and chromatography, Molecular Biology and Cell Culture Lab.

18. To impart trainings to the subordinates and participate in the training programs organized by the company.

19. To develop subject matter experts in the different topics of the section.
