Assistant Manager - Operations

About Us: Bagel Brigade is Hyderabad’s home for authentic New York-style bagels. As a growing food brand, we are seeking reliable and skilled support staff to ensure smooth backend operations and technical upkeep at our outlet.

We are looking for a hands-on Operational Assistant with basic electrical skills to support the smooth functioning of the store by handling routine maintenance, troubleshooting equipment issues, and coordinating with service vendors. This is a non-customer-facing, non-kitchen role focused on operations support and upkeep.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform minor electrical work (e.g., lighting fixes, switchboards, power backups)
• Regularly inspect and troubleshoot appliances like ovens, refrigerators, or display units
• Coordinate with external technicians or vendors for major repairs
• Ensure all equipment is functioning properly and safely
• Handle store-level technical or infrastructure issues (water leaks, basic plumbing coordination, etc.)
• Assist with vendor deliveries (equipment/supplies), if needed
• Maintain basic tools inventory and track repair schedules

Requirements:

• 1–3 years of experience in electrical or facility maintenance
• Basic knowledge of wiring, switches, small appliances, and safety practices
• ITI certification or equivalent technical training preferred (not mandatory)
• Must be proactive, responsible, and punctual
• Ability to follow instructions and document repair/maintenance activity
• Basic Hindi or English communication required
• Familiarity with working in retail/F&B setups is a bonus
