Assistant Manager - Module Production

Purpose/Objective

"The Shift Engineer - Packing ensures seamless execution of safety protocols, efficient pallet management, packing material availability, and 5S compliance. This role is crucial in maintaining safety standards, optimizing production throughput, and ensuring accurate SAP inventory management while driving continuous improvement in packing processes and staff training.

Key Responsibilities of Role

Safety Events Reporting: - Ensure safety events are reported, investigated, and resolved on time, with prompt implementation of corrective actions. Safety: - Proactively identify and report near misses or unsafe conditions to maintain a safe working environment and prevent incidents. Pallet Management & Dispatch Coordination: - Ensure adherence to the pallet transfer schedule, coordinating with dispatch teams to ensure timely pallet movements. Packing Material Availability: - Ensure continuous availability of packing materials and accurate repacking of pallets to meet customer requirements and avoid disruptions. 5S Compliance: - Maintain 5S standards in packing areas, ensuring cleanliness, organization, and efficient workflows. SAP & Inventory Management: - Ensure accurate and error-free SAP pallets, track inventory transactions, and reconcile physical and SAP records on a weekly basis. Automated Packing Implementation: - Lead the successful implementation of the Gen-4 packing system to meet throughput targets and optimize packing efficiency. Training and Development: - Ensure operators are fully multiskilled, with regular training on SAP, packing systems, and safety protocols to enhance team capabilities.
