Job Description

Process planning
Complete process design in consultation with Product Design and Launch team
Preparation, verification & maintenance of production BOM (Bill of Materials)
Conduct Process FMEA for input to facility & process set up for new projects
Preparation of Fixtures Tools & Gauges (FTG), estimation, justifications, procurement process initiation, Design approval process, installation & commission and buy-off according to project time lines
Design of Material handling Trolleys, Pallets, Lifting Tackles & other facilities related to manufacturing
Ensures manufacturing process documentation (Process sheets, Control Plan, Tool Drawings etc.)
Facility planning
Preparation of FTG requirements for assembly, stores & logistics
Facilitate automation in manufacturing & material handling equipments
Design of Material handling trolleys, pallets & lifting tackles
Assembly capacity planning (Capacity vs Budget volumes vs actual production)
Project timelines monitoring
IT in manufacturing - Digitization
General Budget (CAPEX) planning
Plant master layout planning & execution
Implementation of CMVR & MoRH guidelines
Change Management
Quality Concern resolution related to Process
Ensure & maintain Health, Morale & Safety of employees.

Ensuring system documentation under TS16949, ISO 27001 (ISMS), ISO 14001 & OHSAS 18001 and requirement in the department

Experience (years)

3 to 8 years in Automobile Engineering / Mechanical Engineering.
