Role Purpose
We are seeking an experienced Assistant Manager – IT to provide advanced technical support and assist in managing IT operations across the organization. The role involves handling Tier 2 and Tier 3 technical support, maintaining IT infrastructure, ensuring system availability, and mentoring junior IT staff. The ideal candidate will have strong troubleshooting skills, hands-on technical expertise, and the ability to independently manage complex IT issues while supporting continuous improvement of IT services.
Key Responsibilities
IT Support & Operations
● Provide Tier 2/3 technical support for hardware, software, network, and system-related issues via phone, email, remote tools, or in-person support.
● Ensure minimal downtime by promptly diagnosing and resolving critical IT incidents. System & Infrastructure Management
● Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, servers, operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux), applications, and peripherals.
● Administer Microsoft Active Directory, Microsoft 365 / Office 365, Windows Servers, and endpoint security solutions.
Network & Security Support
● Diagnose and resolve network connectivity issues related to LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, VPN, and firewall configurations.
● Configure, deploy, and maintain network devices such as routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless controllers.
● Monitor network and system performance using monitoring tools and recommend improvements.
● Perform system upgrades, patch management, backups, and recovery activities.
IT Asset & Vendor Management
● Manage IT asset inventory, lifecycle management, and compliance documentation.
● Coordinate with OEMs and vendors for issue resolution, AMC, and support services.
● Escalate complex issues to external vendors or senior leadership when required.Team Management & Knowledge Sharing
● Mentor and guide junior IT support engineers.
● Develop and maintain IT documentation, SOPs, and knowledge base articles.
● Conduct user training on IT tools, systems, and security best practices.Process Improvement & Compliance
● Ensure adherence to IT policies, data security standards, and compliance requirements.
● Analyze recurring issues and implement preventive and automation-driven solutions where applicable.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹700,000.00 - ₹900,000.00 per year
