Job Description

As an Inventory Analyst at our company, you will play a crucial role in building a mechanism to analyze stock and maintain an accurate inventory system. Your responsibilities will involve collaborating with various teams to develop and implement new inventory controls based on business needs. Key Responsibilities: - Ensure strict adherence to all inventory procedures at the sites. - Prepare schedules for cycle counts in coordination with the Inventory and Finance teams. - Conduct physical inventory counts, including cycle counts and quarterly PI counts, to minimize variances. - Collaborate with the Finance team to implement necessary controls. - Reconcile stock in Herbalife and CM books with minimal variance during quarterly PI counts. - Establish controls and processes for effective inventory management with the Finance team. - Adhere to internal financial controls, compliance requirements, and establish a review mechanism. - Analyze inventory data and present findings to management for effective control measures. - Implement systems to manage near-expiry materials consumption at sites. - Communicate outdated and slow-moving inventory data via MIS for informed procurement decisions. - Coordinate with the Finance team to build reserves and plan for excess stock depletion in collaboration with the Core Manufacturing team. - Perform additional tasks as assigned by the business. Qualifications: - Graduation/MBA in Inventory Management, Supply Chain Management, or Operations Management. Skills Required: - Leadership and people management abilities. - Strong verbal and written communication skills. - Proficient in data analysis and problem-solving. - Excellent interpersonal skills. - Attention to detail and goal-oriented approach. - Proactive decision-making and critical thinking capabilities. - Proficiency in MS Excel, SAP, Oracle, and ERP systems. Experience: - 5-10 years of experience in inventory management and control. - Sound understanding of financial controls. - Previous experience in the Food/Nutraceutical, FMCG industry. - Background in inventory and warehousing management. - Willingness to travel across India.
