Assistant Manager, Inventory Control

Role Overview: As the incumbent in this role, you will be responsible for building a mechanism to analyze stock and maintain a clean system to ensure accurate inventory representation. Your key focus will involve collaborating with Finance, the Controllership team, and other cross-functional teams to develop and implement new inventory controls based on business needs. Key Responsibilities: - Ensure strict adherence to all inventory procedures at the sites. - Prepare schedules for cycle counts at the sites in coordination with the Inventory and Finance teams. - Conduct all physical inventory counts, including cycle counts, quarterly PI counts, and other necessary counts, in partnership with the Finance team. - Work closely with the Finance team to implement new controls as necessary. - Reconcile stock in Herbalife and CM books with minimal variance during quarterly PI counts. - Establish controls around inventory management by designing processes and procedures with the Finance team. - Uphold internal financial controls and compliance requirements, while also establishing a review mechanism. - Analyze inventory data and present findings to management to demonstrate effective controls. - Implement systems to ensure the utilization of near-expiry materials at sites. - Communicate outdated and slow-moving inventory data through MIS and assist in procurement decisions. - Collaborate with the Finance team to build reserves and strategically plan for depleting excess stock in partnership with the Core Manufacturing team. - Undertake any other tasks assigned by the business. Qualifications Required: - Graduation/MBA in Inventory Management, Supply Chain Management, or Operations Management. Experience: - 5-10 years of experience in inventory management and control. - Solid understanding of financial controls. - Previous experience in the Food/Nutraceutical, FMCG industry. - Experience in inventory and warehousing management. - Willingness to travel across India.,
