Assistant Manager- Indirect Procurement (Process Equipment, Spares, AMC)

As an Assistant Manager in Indirect Procurement at Agratas, a subsidiary of Tata Sons, you will play a crucial role in managing the end-to-end procurement process for AMC, Process Engineering Machinery, and Spares. Your responsibilities will include sourcing suppliers, evaluating bids, negotiating contracts, and maintaining supplier relationships to ensure the best value for the company. **Key Responsibilities:** - Manage Capex/Indirect sourcing/purchasing for an OEM in the areas of AMC, Plant Machineries, and Spares - Ensure transparency in the sourcing portfolio awarding process - Analyze and reduce procurement costs by suggesting cost-saving methods - Devise negotiation strategies to secure profitable deals - Optimize sourcing procedures for maximum efficiency - Lead the RFI & RFQ process - Build beneficial relationships with internal stakeholders such as various programs, regional offices, legal, finance, etc. - Manage complex projects from inception to implementation, including change management - Conduct cost and scenario analysis, benchmarking, and risk assessment - Identify and collaborate with reliable vendors and suppliers - Coordinate quantity and timing of deliveries - Develop and maintain long-term relationships with vendors **Qualifications Required:** - Procurement professional with a minimum of 5 years of experience in AMC, Plant Machineries, Process equipment, and Spares areas - Familiarity with sourcing and vendor management - Broad knowledge of AMC, Process Engineering Machinery, and Spares areas - Strong project management and leadership skills - Proficiency in zero-based costing **Additional Details about Agratas:** Agratas is a scale-up business with a start-up mentality, focusing on green growth and technological advancement.
