Job Description

Purpose of Role

The Assistant Manager – Indirect Taxation will be responsible for managing end-to-end GSTcompliance, advisory, audits, and litigation support in accordance with Indian indirect taxlaws, ensuring accurate reporting and risk mitigation

Position Demands

Qualifications & Experience

  • CA / CMA / LLB / MBA (Finance – Taxation preferred)
  • 2-5 years of experience in Indian indirect taxation
  • Strong knowledge of GST laws and compliance

Key Accountabilities / Responsibilities

GST Compliance & Returns
  • Timely filing of GST returns including GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9/9C
  • Review GST liability, ITC eligibility, reversals, and reconciliations
  • Ensure compliance with e-invoicing and e-way bill regulations
  • Manage GST registrations, amendments, cancellations, and LUTs
Reconciliations & Reporting
  • Monthly and annual reconciliations between books and GST returns
  • Support statutory and GST audits
  • Resolve mismatches and portal discrepancies
