**Job Description:** As the Assistant Human Resources Manager at Avient, you will partner with the Sr. Manager HR India to develop and implement strategic plans for human resources services, policies, and programs. Your role will involve supporting decision-making processes and positively impacting organizational results by recruiting, retaining, developing, and rewarding the best talent efficiently and compliantly. You will lead multiple projects to enhance and innovate the Avient Human Resources Department, with responsibilities in project management, performance management, and employee/industrial relations for your group. **Key Responsibilities:** - Work with the Sr Manager HR India and client groups to design organization structures, business processes, and systems aligned with strategic goals. - Ensure cordial industrial relations at the site and create a high-performance culture emphasizing empowerment, quality, productivity, and goal attainment. - Guide managers in areas such as benefits, compensation, training, recruiting, conflict management, and performance management. - Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations in all policies and procedures. - Handle operational human resource issues including job description development, hiring, retention, succession planning, legal compliance, and communications. - Oversee human resources responsibilities for assigned business unit teams and shared service functions. - Implement plans for performance and innovation within Avient's human resources department. - Monitor key metrics to assist in effectively managing the workforce and maximizing productivity. - Demonstrate solid business acumen and make HR decisions to positively impact the bottom line. - Foster teamwork and act as a catalyst for change, influencing others to make difficult decisions. - Perform additional projects as required by the business or HR organization. **Qualifications Required:** - Masters in Human Resources or equivalent experience. - 8-10 years of experience in Human Resources, specifically in industrial/employee relations, interviewing, performance management, HR generalist roles, and general administration. - Preferred experience in the Manufacturing industry. **Additional Details:** Avient Corporation focuses on being an innovator of materials solutions to help customers succeed while promoting a sustainable world.
