Role & responsibilities

A. Contractual Manpower

1. Manpower Supply and Onboarding

  • Responsible to ensure labour supply to all divisions as per BOM without any deviation.
  • Ensures induction in job role, safety, policies etc. of all before they are put into shop floor.
  • Supervises filling of vacancies in coordination with Recruitment team for Blue-sky manpower.
  • Ensures timely Onboarding including offer, appointment, induction etc. for Blue-Sky manpower.
  • Takes the responsibility that no additional or short-supply of manpower is done as a deviation to the standards or approved guidelines.

2. Lifecycle Management

  • Processes payroll of all the manpower with accuracy.
  • Keeps track of all the focus manpower.
  • Develops cordial relationship in the shop floor to have firsthand information.
  • Manages queries and grievances of all the types of manpower.
  • Maintains code of conduct, handles disciplinary actions, maintains workplace harmony.

3. Shop Floor Management

  • Shop floor visit on a daily basis to get a pulse of manpower.
  • Develops performance culture and measures performance of the workforce on a continuous basis.
  • Keeps a track of compliance to the laid down policies and processes at the shop floor.

4. Compliance

  • Adherence to minimum wages of all the manpower as per statutory notifications.
  • Compliance to PF, ESIC, LWF, Insurances, claims, licenses etc. pertaining to manpower.
  • Payment of wages on time as per guidelines.
  • Ensure there is no non-compliance across all the manpower.
  • Guides and ensures adherence to all the certification programs (like SA-8000, ISO etc.) for the plant in coordination with different divisions.
  • Monitors and ensures Zero NC for all the audits related to manpower / administration.

B.Onroll Manpower

1. Onboarding

  • Responsible for imparting detailed HR induction as well as departmental induction to the new employee.
  • Ensure execute all the forms and collecting as well as verifying required documentation.
  • Ensure opening of bank account, ID card, visiting card, e-mail ID, arranging for sitting place,
    oversee supply of computer, stationery etc.
  • Ensure rolling out of Appointment letter and joining information.
  • Intimation to different departments regarding joining of new employee.

2. Employee Service

  • Enroll new employees into HRMS in all aspects including HRIS, e-mail, accesses etc.
  • Managing the queries / grievances of all the manpower.
  • Attendance & Leave Management of employees.
  • Employee transfers, promotions, salary revision etc.
  • Employee benefit programs
  • Disciplinary actions

3. Performance Management

  • Drives Performance Management System, Goal setting as per guidelines, periodic PEP,
    retention, promotion, manpower fitment and compensation revision.
  • Reviews performance of the employees periodically with the expected deliverables.
  • Takes suitable steps regarding performance measures, improvements and actions in
    coordination with Corporate HR.

C. MIS

  • Daily manpower Supply MIS through team member vis a vis BOM/standards.
  • Coordinates for supply of recruitment MIS.
  • Ensures timely updation to HO on key and critical information on all aspects.
  • Provides cost MIS on manpower and Admin to HO on a monthly basis / OR the intervals
    splayed-out.
  • Ensures timely Budget working on Manpower /Admin to Plant Head and HO as per the
    directives.

D. Overall Plant Administration

  • Responsible for overall Administration activities of the Unit.
  • Controls cost and budget.
  • Carries overall responsibility of the Manufacturing Unit all aspects with direct deliverables and coordination with Stake Holders.
  • Supports the reporting manager in all the work to be carried over in the Unit either directly or in coordination.

Preferred candidate profile

  • Qualification: MBA HR | MSW | PGDM
  • Preference candidate: Manufacturing industries

Skills:-

  • Well versed with manpower compliances including contractual manpower.
  • Sound knowledge of current HR practices
  • Sound knowledge of labor laws and compliances.
  • Should have handled IR related action points in a factory setup.
  • Self-motivated and leadership quality.
  • Team Building
  • Communication skill.
