Milton is looking for an Sr Designer/Assistant Manager - Industrial Design Experience Required: Senior Designer: 1 to 3 years Assistant Manager: 3 to 6 years Location - Kandivali, Mumbai Interested candidates can share their resumes with at madhushree.patil@hamiltonindia.in Job Purpose To conceptualize, design, and develop aesthetically pleasing, functional, and manufacturable plastic consumer products aligned with Hamilton's brand values and market expectations. Key Responsibilities Design & Development Design and develop new products from concept to production using SolidWorks, Rhino, and KeyShot Create high-quality 3D models, design iterations, and photorealistic renderings Apply strong form, aesthetics, and ergonomic principles to product designs Translate briefs into tangible design concepts through sketches and digital visualizations Technical & Engineering Support Have a basic understanding of plastic materials, decoration processes, and foiling techniques Coordinate with tooling, engineering, and manufacturing teams to check if the design is feasible Support internal teams and vendors during prototyping and sampling stages Participate in design reviews and contribute to discussions on improving product performance Cross-Functional Collaboration Liaise with marketing and product management for design briefs and consumer insights Coordinate with packaging and branding teams for product detailing and visual appeal Provide design support for product launches, exhibitions, and visual merchandising Technical Skills Exceptionally good sense of physical form, aesthetics, and detailing Hands-on experience with computer-aided design (CAD) tools Good knowledge of 3D modeling and rendering software preferably SolidWorks and KeyShot Ability to convert design ideas into presentations using tools like: MS Office Adobe Illustrator / CorelDraw Photoshop Behavioral Skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong self-initiative and ability to work independently Comfortable working collaboratively in a team as per project needs
