Sr. Engineer /Asst. Manager Solar PV Inverter Expert

Roles and Responsibilities

• Managing the installation, testing & commissioning and operation & maintenance of Solar PV Inverters ranging from 750 kW to 3100 kW for TMEIC, ABB, Hitachi & Sungrow make inverters by ensuring all technical compliance.
• Design and execute a regular maintenance schedule as per OEM standards to minimize inverter down time and maximize inverter efficiency.
• Monitor and prepare daily inverter analysis reports including alarms, warnings, events, states, low performance & heat map.
• Monitor inverter performance, and identify areas for improvement to optimize plant performance.
• Provide technical support during inverters trouble shooting, modifications, retrofits, and software & firmware upgrades.
• Execute Inverter O&M activities as per safety and quality guidelines of Preventive, Predictive, Proactive and Productive Maintenances.
• Depth knowledge of key inverter components such as IGBTs (Insulated-Gate Bipolar Transistors), Filters, Heat Sink, Cooling System, Output Circuit Breakers, Transducer, Control Transformer, Reactors, Capacitors, Resistors, Gate Driver Control Boards & Microcontrollers.
• Conduct a regular inspections & audits of Solar PV Inverters to the sites located in TN,AP, KA & GJ Sites.
• Ability to guide & train site personnel and escalate technical issues to OEM to ensure smooth operation of Inverters.
• Maintaining the reports & records related to the inverter operation and maintenance activities for all sites.

Desired Candidate Profile

• We are looking for a well-experienced in electrical engineering with Solar PV Inverter system.
• Work experience in O&M Planning and execution.

Qualification: B.Tech or B.E Electrical & Electronics

Experience: 10 to 12 years

Key Skills: Operation and Maintenance of string Inverters and central Inverters for ground mounted solar system, substation and its equipment, good communication, report preparation and presentation.

Joining: Within 30 days

Working Location: Project sites located at TN, KA, AP and willing to travel down to project sites.
