Roles & Responsibilities Procurement & Sourcing Assist in developing and implementing purchasing strategies aligned with company objectives. Identify, evaluate, and onboard suppliers/vendors. Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts to ensure cost efficiency. Purchase Order & Vendor Management Review and process purchase requisitions and convert them into POs. Maintain strong relationships with vendors to ensure timely delivery and quality compliance. Monitor vendor performance and handle supplier-related issues. Inventory & Material Management Coordinate with stores/warehouse teams to maintain optimal inventory levels. Ensure timely procurement of raw materials, consumables, and services. Track stock movement to avoid shortages or overstocking. Cost Control & Budgeting Monitor and control procurement budgets. Identify cost-saving opportunities through effective sourcing and negotiation. Support in preparing periodic reports on purchase expenditure. Compliance & Documentation Ensure adherence to company procurement policies and legal requirements. Maintain proper documentation of contracts, POs, invoices, and supplier details. Support internal/external audits related to procurement. Coordination & Support Collaborate with finance, production, and logistics teams for smooth purchase operations. Provide timely updates to management on procurement status. Assist in resolving purchase-related disputes or discrepancies.
