Assistant Manager- Governance & Risk

Role Overview: As a Risk Manager at MetLife, your primary responsibility will be to provide oversight and risk advice from a second-line perspective to the India Business on Data Privacy and Non-Financial Risk (NFR) matters. You will play a crucial role in relaying the MetLife Enterprise framework to the India Branch, ensuring the quality, transparency, and accuracy of Data Privacy and Non-financial risk information, as well as the effectiveness of risk mitigation activities. Key Responsibilities: - Oversight, review, and challenge of day-to-day Privacy Incidences, Assessments, Non-financial risk management, reporting, and governance. - Reviewing Data Privacy risks in change management initiatives and ensuring compliance with MetLife standards. - Exercising a voice of risk on matters impacting Data Privacy and Non-financial risk. - Supporting the implementation of Data Privacy, Ops Risk practices, and Non-financial risk operating model. - Taking corrective and preventive actions based on the Governance structure. Qualifications Required: - Functional Certifications around Data Privacy and Operational Risk from a reliable certifying body with a proven track record. - Strong leadership and people skills. - Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to articulate and influence clients/customers. - Capability to build and sustain strong relationships with your team, International Clients, and Service Partners.
