Assistant Manager Corporate Legal

Role & responsibilities

• Act as a Subject Matter Expert in Reviewing/Analyzing accounts or documents and determining appropriate and applicable treatment in line with established SOPs or other standard procedures designated for various tasks/processes.
• Individually capable to deliver final work product of appropriate documents or responses prepared as part of the designated task/process. Able to prepare consolidated reports including all appropriate responses and findings for stakeholders in a timely and accurate manner.
• Able to act as a primary contact for certain processes, communicating closely with concerned attorneys and paralegals (stakeholders).
• Calibrating and streamlining the understanding of the team through raising appropriate queries in order to ensure delivering a high-quality work-product
• Able to analyze the quality of the work performed by the team, performing second/third level checks through random sampling and other appropriate methods on various processes of the team.
• Able to maintain a basic-level MIS for concerned processes, ensuring appropriate work prioritization and adequate work-allocation with a vision to continuously increase efficiency

EXPERIENCE:

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES, AND OTHER ATTRIBUTES:

• Good understanding of legal terminology
• Exposure of US legal system and providing legal services
• Ability to collaborate with offshore & onshore stakeholders • Ability to drive performance within the team
• Ability to continuously seek efficiency in the process
• Good understanding of MS Office tools (Advanced understanding of MS Excel preferred)
• Strong English reading and writing capability along with strong analytical skills
