Stay informed on the latest trends and technologies in missile development and mechanical manufacturing. 7. Supply Chain & Inventory Management: Oversee the supply chain to ensure timely procurement of materials and components. Manage inventory levels to align with production requirements, preventing shortages or excess stock. Work closely with suppliers and vendors to ensure quality material supply and on-time delivery. 8. Health, Safety, and Environmental Responsibility: Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations. Promote a safety-first culture within the plant to prevent workplace accidents and injuries. Implement and monitor safety protocols, providing proper training for employees on safety and emergency procedures. 9. Maintenance Management: Lead and manage the maintenance function, ensuring plant equipment and machinery operate at optimal levels. Experience: Minimum of 20-25 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, including at least 5 years in a senior leadership role within the defense or aerospace sector. Proven track record in managing production and maintenance functions within a manufacturing facility, particularly in the defense industry. Technical Skills: Expertise in missile systems, mechanical product design, and manufacturing processes. Knowledge of CAD software, mechanical design principles, and quality control systems. The ideal candidate will ensure cost-effective, timely, and high-quality procurement in line with project specifications and vendor compliance. _________________________________________________________________________ Key Responsibilities: Procurement & Sourcing Identify, evaluate, and finalize vendors for LT/HT electrical materials (cables, switchgear, panels, transformers, relays, etc.) Prepare and issue Request for Quotations (RFQs) and Purchase Orders (POs) Negotiate prices, credit terms, and delivery schedules with suppliers Technical Evaluation Review and interpret electrical specifications, SLDs, and BOQS Ensure all procured items meet technical standards (IS/IEC/CBIP/RDSO/spec sheets) Coordinate with design/project teams to validate technical compliance of vendor offers Vendor Development & Management Maintain approved vendor lists and build new vendor relationships Conduct vendor audits and quality inspections as required Monitor vendor performance and ensure timely material delivery Logistics & Coordination Coordinate with stores, project sites, and logistics teams for smooth dispatch & tracking Follow up on delivery schedules and resolve supply chain bottlenecks Cost & Compliance Control Ensure procurement within budgetary constraints Maintain records of quotations, purchase history, and payment status Ensure adherence to organizational and regulatory procurement policies Required Skills & Qualifications: B.E./Diploma in Electrical Engineering 2-3 years of relevant experience in electrical procurement (preferably EPC, metro, power, or infrastructure projects) Sound knowledge of LT & HT equipment (HT Panels, RMUS, XLPE cables, transformers, etc.) Proficient in MS Excel, SAP/ERP , and procurement software Strong negotiation, analytical, and vendor management skills Ability to work under deadlines and handle multiple projects Candidate Profile: 1. Job Summary HYT Engineering Company Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a dynamic Civil Engineer with experience in industrial shed construction and machine foundation works. The ideal candidate will manage on-site execution, uphold quality standards, and coordinate with various internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely and efficient project delivery. Key Responsibilities Supervise execution of civil works including industrial sheds and machine foundations. Interpret and work with GA, RCC, and foundation drawings. Conduct site inspections to ensure work is in line with approved drawings and specifications. Monitor progress, check contractor quality, manage materials, and maintain detailed daily/monthly reports. Ensure accurate documentation and timely completion of project activities. Coordinate with Design, Production, Marketing, and Project teams for smooth execution. Facilitate project completion certification from clients. Support the Service team and GM Pune in communication with railway clients. Skills & Competencies Solid knowledge of industrial construction, especially in machine foundations and shed structures .
