Job Description

Role Overview: As a Visa Counsellor, you will be responsible for working closely with the Admission and Counselling Team to educate them about the latest updates and overseeing the team of counsellors and filing officers with result-oriented strategies and planning. You will serve as the process owner for all clients of the branch (students), ensuring that they are well serviced and guided throughout the entire student Visa application process. Your role will also involve cross-checking complete visa application documentation, providing advice to the team on managing students and visa files, and making appropriate decisions to increase visa approvals. Additionally, you will be involved in training students for Visa Interviews, managing educational fairs and seminars, and maintaining the branch's records and facilities. Key Responsibilities: - Educate Admission and Counselling Team about the latest updates and lead them with result-oriented strategies - Serve as the process owner for all clients (students) of the branch and ensure they are guided well throughout the visa application process - Cross-check complete visa application documentation and ensure accuracy - Provide advice to the team on managing students and preparing visa files - Make appropriate decisions to increase visa approvals - Train students for Visa Interviews - Learn and efficiently use the company's CRM portal for routine activities - Ensure timely updating of all leads, students, and applications into CRM - Support the team in resolving routine CRM related issues - Maintain the branch's records, office equipment, and facilities - Manage educational fairs and seminars - Keep proper and updated records of the team's progress and deliver quality work - Counsel clients about student visa processes and requirements of various countries - Audit the records of registered clients routinely to ensure processing is on track - Proactively identify and resolve issues faced by clients to retain maximum clients Qualifications Required: - 2-5 years of experience in the same field - Strong knowledge of Canada, Australia, New Zealand & Europe Visa Rules & Regulations - Good understanding of Visa application process and documentation requirements - Result-oriented with the ability to work under pressure - Excellent Communication Skills (verbal & written), pleasing personality, confident, good keyboard skills, academically bright - Ability to communicate effectively with students and public of all age groups and social backgrounds - Flexibility over working hours - Encourages input and ideas from others,
