Job Summary
To manage and administer the operations of all Cabin Appearance activities of the respective station by supporting Manager Cabin Appearance.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Manager, Cabin Appearance Operations in establishing and there after implementing the standards as set in the Cabin Appearance Manual and to ensure quality of product to the passenger.
- Plan and forecast all requirements for smooth functioning of the Cabin Appearance services at their respective station and provide inputs to Manager, Cabin Appearance for preparation of budget.
- Be responsible for day to day functioning of the Station by monitoring and coordinating all activities with the staff, direct or contracted to ensure that the set standards of Cabin Appearance are fulfilled.
- Report cabin defects directly to the Cabin Maintenance Shift In-charge.
- Carry out the instructions of the Manager, Cabin Appearance in relation to the scheduled Line Maintenance and Scheduled hangar Maintenance plans and ensure on time completion of the jobs assigned.
- Brief staff on Duty assignments and ensure staff have replenished all daily requirements in the ramp store as per the standard. Ensure staff on duty are well trained, well dressed and well behaved as everybody represents the company.
- Follow up on customer feedback, Cabin Crew feedback, Cabin Defect Reports and Audit reports and ensure prompt corrective measures are taken to solve problems and prevent repetitive complaints from recurring. Coordinate and follow up on schedules of Disinfestations, Fumigation, Potable Water Test, Water Cart cleaning, Deep cleaning, C-checks etc.
- Manage staff discipline through counselling, teamwork and fair and just administration in accordance with the company policies.
- Provide continuous training to all staff and monitor their performance.
- Periodic appraisals of the staff to be made and discussed individually with the staff and feedback given to the Manager, Cabin Appearance.
- Check that all records are maintained pertaining to staff, while monitoring that the cost factors are well within the budget, without compromising on Quality standards.
- Ensure that all assets of the Company including equipment and vehicles are maintained in serviceable condition, serviced periodically, and utilized properly.
- Carry out any other task assigned by Manager -Cabin Appearance – Network
Required Skills And Experience
- 10-12 Years of experience in Cabin Appearance of reputed Airline, 10 to 12 Years of experience in housekeeping department of Five-star Hotel / Facilities Management.
- Must have an eye for details, Man Management skills, knowledge of cabin cleaning / cabin dressing, good decision making skills & effective communication.

Educational Qualification
Graduate with Hotel Management, PDG in Housekeeping or Accommodation/ Facilities Management.
